A small boutique hotel on the shores of the Potomac River, about 90 minutes Southeast of Washington, DC. Prior to the hospitality business, Anita had a decade long career in public service, having most recently served as the Director of Budget and Finance for the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction – a joint Department of State and Department of Defense mandated temporary Inspector General office to conduct investigations and audits into fraud, waste, and abuse of taxpayer’s dollars in the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
While working for the Federal government, Anita completed her Masters of Business Administration at Marymount University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from James Madison University.
Anita grew up in the Northern Virginia area, and stayed local after college and throughout her professional career. With her diverse background, Anita brings a professional attitude and local-girl knowledge of the Northern Virginia and Washington DC area.
Anita wants to, “help contribute to putting Washington DC on the map as a major metropolitan city by showing her clients how much this city has to offer and just how great this city is and will be in the future!”
